Jubilee Wine Tasting - October 16, 2009

This exciting fundraiser is a small, intimate and fun evening where guests are invited to partake in expert wine analysis and tasting. Each year, a popular local wine connoisseur demonstrates wines from a different region of the globe.

The 2009 Wine Tasting featured wines from realtively unheralded regions of the world. Our expert wine analysis and tasting was lead by renowned wine critic Michael Franz. Michael Franz is a wine writer, educator, and consultant.  He is editor of Wine Review Online, wine columnist for France magazine, and a contributor to several national and international wine magazines. He wrote as wine columnist for The Washington Post from 1994 to 2005.  Franz teaches wine classes for Washington Wine Academy and L’Academie de Cuisine, and is a consultant for 13 restaurants in the National Capital area. Wines for the tasting are personally selected by Michael Franz.
